Roof? What Roof?

In true bodge fashion, after cutting off the upper half of the structure to create raised beds and bodging a floor from a couple of pallets that a bathroom had been delivered on, I had to adapt to Karen’s advice that this was a silly idea because beds are supposed to be on the ground. (in essence what I had been thinking of was a raised cold frame, not a bed)

Plan B (for Bodge) became therefore to make it an enclosed structure something more like a greenhouse. Having looked previously at ‘hoop houses’ I decided to look at how I might incorporate some of those ideas. Cue two long pieces of the pallet wood and a couple of 2m lengths of conduit that I had bought many years before to make one note whistles for Stomp’s Lost and Found Orchestra
